The Nokia Lumia 1320 plays second fiddle to the more expensive Lumia 1520 phablet, offering a 6" display but a lower feature set.. although this does mean that it costs less than half the price of the 1520 which is pretty good going.
On the front is a 6" 720 x 1280 pixel panel and a 0.3 megapixel video calling camera, on the back is a 5 megapixel camera with a flash and full HD video capture. Inside is a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage plus a microSD slot and there is 7GB of online cloud storage. This is an LTE-equipped device with all the usual smartphone features plus an FM radio. The operating system is Windows Phone 8 plus a whole set of enhancements from Nokia, and overall the handset may not be the powerhouse of the Lumia 1520 but it is still a very capable device. The Lumia 1320 will be available in orange, black, white and yellow colours, measures 164 x 86 x 9.8mm and weighs 220 grams. Inside is a 3400 mAh battery.
Priced at $339 before tax and subsidy (equating to a retail price of around €300 or £250) the Lumia 1320 will ship first to China, Vietnam and other Asian markets in early 2014 with India and European markets to follow.
