T-Mobile were very much in evidence at this year's MWC event, showcasing some exclusive devices for their network.

T-Mobile MDA Vario V

T-Mobile's version of the HTC Touch Pro2, the T-Mobile MDA Vario V is due in June 2009 in Germany, the UK, Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. This is one of the most interesting phones to come out of this year's MWC and is likely to be hotly anticipated.

T-Mobile MDA Compact V

Although it has a few cosmetic differences, the T-Mobile MDA Compact V is identical to the HTC Touch Diamond2 underneath. This is another impressive Windows smartphone with class leading features, due for release in the UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands in June.

Nokia 1662

A version of the existing Nokia 1661, the Nokia 1662 is designed to be a very low cost colour phone aimed at prepaid customers. It has a 120 x 160 pixel display, FM radio and a flashlight and 19 days standby time.

Due to come in April in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia and Poland, the Nokia 1662 is likely to be one of the very cheapest phones in T-Mobile's range.

T-Mobile Vairy Touch

A compact touchscreen device aimed at prepay customers, the T-Mobile Vairy Touch bears a passing resemblence to the T-Mobile MDA Basic, but this is not an HTC handset and it does not run Windows.

We don't know much about the specifications of this device, except it has Bluetooth, an FM radio and what appears to be a front-facing camera which would indicate that this is a 3G phone.

The T-Mobile Vairy Touch will be on sale from March in Germany, Austria, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary and Macedonia.

LG GT500 (LG Puccini)

A touchscreen phone with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA and a 3" 400 x 240 pixel screen, the LG GT500 is a powerful but slim device.

It features comprehensive mail support, geotagging and it can play back a wide variety of different media formats.

The GT500 is a step up from the LG KP500 Cookie in terms of specification, and will be available exclusively on T-Mobile from June this year, probably marketed under the name "LG Puccini".
