2nd December 2012 As the year comes to a close, handset releases get fewer and fewer as manufacturers try their last-gasp attempts to get products into the shops by Christmas.
NokiaNokia filled out the lower end of its range this month, the Nokia 109 is a low-end phone that comes with Internet connectivity. A little similar in design but with a better specification overall is the Nokia 206 which will be reassuringly familiar to many customers. The Nokia Asha 205 is a basic QWERTY-equipped messaging phone, but is it a bit too basic?
Other manufacturersThe Samsung Galaxy Premier is a bit less sophisticated and a bit less expensive than the best-selling Galaxy S III. Illustrating a very different approach to security is the attractive DeTron De Fens. And finally, the Lava Iris N320 is possibly the cheapest Android smartphone in the world.
