Nokia 7360
Discontinued 19th October 2005
The Nokia 7360 is a low end fashion phone that comes
in "coffee brown" and "warm amber"
colour schemes. It fits into the same slot in Nokia's
range as the hideous Nokia
7260 "Chav's phone", but it's a much
more restrained and tastefully designed device.
It's pretty basic in specification terms, the Nokia
7360 with a 128x160 pixel display, VGA resolution camera,
FM radio, web browser and email client, push-to-talk,
voice activated user interface and fashion themes. The
7360 even comes with a velvet bag to carry it in.
At 92 grams in weight and 105x45x18mm, the Nokia
7360 is about average for a "candy bar" phone.
Talktime is a shortish 4 hours with up to 14 days standby
(which is very good).
The 7360 supports MP3 ringtones, but doesn't have
an MP3 player. Nor does it have Bluetooth. Having said
that, Nokia expect the 7360 to cost just 200 euros before
subsidy and taxes.
Overall, the Nokia 7360 is a good value phone and
attractive too. Even though we slated the old 7260 when
we saw it last year, it went on to become one of the
best selling handsets of 2005, so we can expect the
7360 to be a best seller too.
