The HTC 7 Mozart is a Windows Phone 7 smartphone in a traditional
touchscreen form factor, with a 3.7" display, GPS, 3.5G and
WiFi support.
In the UK, the HTC Mozart will be available exclusively on the
Orange network, and Orange will bundle it with their own Orange
Maps application that allows turn-by-turn navigation. Other than
that, the Mozart offers all the usual Windows Phone 7 features.
In Germany, the Mozart will be available exclusively on T-Mobile
with their NAVIGON navigation software.
Inside the Mozart is a speedy 1GHz processor with 576MB of RAM,
on the back the Mozart comes with an 8 megapixel camera with Xenon
flash and 720p video recording. Inside, this is a 900/2100 MHz 3.5G
phone with quad-band GSM and support for 802.11 b, g and n WiFi.
Internal memory is a useful 16GB.
The camera is significantly better than most rival Windows Phone
7 devices, with a higher pixel count and a better flash. Other than
that, most Windows Phone 7 handsets seem to differentiate themselves
on screen size, and at 3.7" the Mozart is about in the middle.
Orange say that the HTC 7 Mozart should be available in their
retail outlets from 21st October onwards, and it will presumably
be launched at the same time on other networks worldwide.
