Available now 12th October 2010
The new HTC 7 Pro is initially bound for the Sprint CDMA
network in the US, though HTC indicate this smartphone will
also be available in GSM configurations for European and Asian markets.

This is a Windows Phone 7 handset, and the main differentiator
between this and other HTC WP7 devices is the slide-out QWERTY
keyboard. Other features include a 3.6" 480 x 800 pixel display,
a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and HD video recording,
3.5G support, WiFi and GPS. The processor is a 1GHz unit (presumably
a Snapdragon), combined with 448Mb of RAM and 8GB of internal Flash
memory.
Other standard features include Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, a multimedia
player, 3.5mm audio socket and a digital compass.
The HTC 7 Pro is largely like every other Windows Phone 7 device
when it comes to software. Microsoft's new operating system is very
different from older versions, and it certainly looks and feels
very different from the iPhone or Android. As with other WP7 phones,
the HTC 7 Pro is a very powerful device which should appeal to high-end
users.
HTC say that the CDMA version of the HTC 7 Pro should be available
on the Sprint network sometime in the first half of 2011, with no
indication of when (or if) we might see this handset on other carriers
worldwide.
