Samsung E700
Discontinued 25th October 2003
Featuring a decent digital camera,
MMS, polyphonic ringtones and a good colour display,
the Samsung E700 is pretty similar to some of the other
Samsung phones, just a little better all around, but
thankfully it's not silver, and the internal aerial
gives it a very sleek look.
There's an built-in digital zoom
camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels, a large
160x128 pixel display. The Samsung E700 weighs just
86 grams, measures 90x45x23 mm (typipcal for its class),
up to three hours talktime and a standby time of over
seven days.
The Samsung E700 also features WAP over
GPRS and the usual features you'd expect these days
from a high-end mobile.
If you like neat, stylish, compact and
yet fully featured phones, then the Samsung E700 is
well worth considering. Thankfully, Samsung have realised
that silver clamshells all look the same and are impossible
to tell apart, and they've done it without making the
phone look too wacky. Initial indications are that this
is a very big seller.
