We first
saw the Nokia 7310 Supernova a few weeks
ago when Nokia accidentally leaked the complete specifications
for the device.
Just to recap - this is a lightweight
fashion phone with a 2" 240 x 320 pixel display,
2 megapixel camera, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, microSD
expandable memory and an optional TV output cable.
One key feature with the 7310 is the
exchangeable covers. Supplied as standard is a "Steel
Blue" Xpress-on cover plus either "Wasabi
Green" or "Candy Pink". Some of the other
colour combinations available (depending on region)
are "Espresso Brown", "Plum Jam",
"Mushroom Silver", "Yellow Mellow"
and "Electric Blue". You can also change the
colour schemes in software, so there's quite a
bit of scope for personalising your 7310.
It's not a very expensive phone, at
€155 (or £120 / $240) before tax and any carrier
discount.. so it should appeal to prepay customers as
well as those on contract. We understand that the 7310
Supernova is already available in certain markets, and
it should have a more widespread release in the next
couple of weeks.
