The story that just won't die is the Apple iPhone 4 and problems with the antenna design. Apple half-heartedly admitted that there might be a problem after all and offered free bumpers to customers. However, many other manufacturers are struggling too, and this month we wrote an open letter to Nokia to express our feelings about the Finnish firm's apparent lack of direction.

New Handsets

The Motorola Charm is an Android messaging phone with a QWERTY keyboard, heading for T-Mobile in the USA. LG announced a whole range of Android-based Optimus smartphones. And for the customer who wants something a little more bespoke, Bellperre have announced a much improved range for 2010.
