More announcement and confirmations
from major manufacturers at 3GSM. We'll cover these
handsets in more depth later.
Nokia
Noka confirmed the E90
and N77
as predicted, and also announced the E65 slider
and an enhanced version of the E61 called the E61i.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator is a midrange Symbian
smartphone with integrated GPS, and Nokia haven't forgotten
the basics with the low cost Nokia 3110.
Motorola
In addition to the RIZR
Z8, Motorola confirmed the GSM version of the Motorola
Moto Q along with a 3.5G version called the Moto
Q Q9 (running the new Windows Mobile 6.0 OS). The
Motorola KRZR K3 is a predictable 3G version
of the KRZR, plus the SLVR gets an FM radio with the
SLVR L9. The Motorola W510 is yet another
RAZR-style clamshell, and then there are two low-cost
candybar phones, the W205 and W215.
Toshiba
Toshiba utilise their expertise in Windows
devices to come up with the PORTÉGÉ G500 and
G900 smartphones.
Sagem
Sagem showcased their incredibly elegant
my800C 3G phone, plus the ultra-compact my200C
and my202C. The DVB-H based myMobileTV
and slim my150X were also featured.
